One of the benefits of being a Supervisor is the opportunity to work with organizations such as the Council of Governments (COG) and the County Association of Township Officials which represents Supervisors across Centre County, as well as the opportunity to represent townships on organizations at the county level.

Through my service at the township and county levels, I was invited to represent townships in statewide organizations, including the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS) and the Pennsylvania Local Government Investment Trust (PLGIT). These statewide efforts resulted in my selection for the 2010 Governor's Award for Local Government Excellence for Outstanding Services to Local Government.
